National & International Competitions

The USAIGC/IAIGC Office conducts three Unique Competitions on Three Different Competitive Platforms Nationally and a World Championship at the end of June. Our Member Clubs host sanctioned USAIGC Competitions across the USA.

We have established a growing International Gymnastic Program:

Competitively

The USAIGC/IAIGC have moved in a different Competitive Direction. We created an Optional Only International College Bound Competitive Program in conjunction with our membership. A Competitive Program that has allowed us to compete on an International Platform.

-The Coach: places the gymnast in their competitive level based on their skill mastery. Gymnasts move up our Competitive ladder based on their mastery of skills not a score. Gymnasts do not have to move up to the next level in consecutive order. When and what level to move up to is the Coaches decision.

Different Competitive Opportunities: our gymnasts can compete on their next competitive level on up to two events preventing boredom and the feeling of being "stuck in a level". We encourage individual event specialists.

Different Qualification Procedures:

-State/Regional Championship qualification scores can be attained at any sanctioned competition, nationally or internationally.
-USAIGC/IAIGC Gymnasts can compete in either a State or Regional Championships or both.
-Our Gymnasts can qualify from ANY USAIGC/IAIGC Sanctioned Competition in the USA or Internationally. We believe a score on the east coast is the same as a score on the west coast, or Internationally. We have confidence in our USAIGC/IAIGC Officials.

State and Regional Championships serve specific purposes:
(1) bring sections of the country together to compete
(2) provide an additional opportunity to compete Regionally
(3) both Championships are World Championship Qualification Competitions

The USAIGC/IAIGC provide choices and opportunities for our gymnasts.

For the USAIGC/IAIGC it is as much about the experience of the competition as the competition itself. Our Gymnasts compete in a competitive environment that fosters friendship and develops successful healthy well-rounded athletes.
