USAIGC / IAIGC OFFICIALS EDUCATION CLINICS
The following officials have attended a USAIGC Coaches & Officials Free Clinic covering the USAIGC Competitive Rules & Poicies for our Copper, Bronze, Silver & Gold Levels during the 2012-2013 competitive season.
The USAIGC brings the coaches and officials together for all Educational Clinics pertaining to Competition so our Coaches & Officials will be on the same page in regard to our USAIGC Rules and Policies. We as an Association are striving for consistency in scoring. This is a major step in that direction.
The USAIGC thanks our attending officials for their support of our competitive program.
Meet Directors should check the availability of those officials listed below for judging your USAIGC Sanctioned Competitions. In the 2013-14 USAIGC Competitive Season all USAIGC Meet Directors will be required to use our USAIGC Judging Pool. In 2014-2015 season the USAIGC will begin Officials Certification (Free) but in a more meaningful and educational atmosphere.
USAIGC JUDGING CONTRACT CLARIFICATION
In the past when we have had USAIGC Competitions run on the same day or weekend as USAG. Officials could only charge the Meet Director for mileage in one direction. The USAIGC pays no mileage because we pay more, much more to our Officials. To make this even clearer USAIGC Meet Directors that have both USAIGC and USAG competitions taking place on the same day MUST remind the Officials that they will receive mileage ONLY ONE WAY. There will be NO double dipping.
Meet Directors / Officials have three choices:
a. Pay/Accept the One Way Mileage plus everything else in our USAIGC Contract offers.
b. Pay the round-trip mileage BUT use ONLY the USAG contract for the entire competition. DO NOT PAY PER SESSION FEES.
c. Replace those Officials with (USAIGC Officials) who agree to the one-way fee.
Send to the USAIGC Office the names of those who had to be excused.
The USAIGC believes that we all must work together. USAIGC Meet Directors provide job opportunities for Officials who want to work USAIGC Competitions.
USAIGC Meet Directors have the right to HIRE their own Officials. They DO NOT have to go through any Association. USAIGC Meet Directors can request Officials from our Technical Director, or use a USAIGC Official in your State.
New York State South (Downstate) Meet Directors MUST use our Technical Director for all SANCTIONED USAIGC COMPETITIONS.

Officials COMPENSATION PACKAGE 9/2012
1. Travel expenses limited to: tolls, cabs, bus fares, train fares, parking, air fares, parking, room accommodations (when required). The USAIGC does not pay mileage.
2. There are No Head Judge Fees
3. Per Diem: One session: no meals, two sessions: one meal, three sessions: two meals.
If food is not provided: Officials will purchase their meals and present their receipt to the host club (including 15% tip) for re-imbursement. Breakfast-Lunch up to $15.00 +tip, Dinner up to $20.00 +tip
4. Overtime Compensation:
Any USAIGC Sanction Competitions exceeding three-hours (10 minute grace period) beginning with march-in, to last competitor dismounting the Meet Director will pay each official $25.00. If the time exceeds 3 hours 40 minutes an additional $25.00 shall be paid to each of the officials. If overtime is due to an injury, unusual circumstance the Meet Director will not be obligated to pay the $25.00
5. Officials Compensation
One Judge Panel $130.00 per session
Two Judge Panel $105.00 per session
This compensation package puts the money in the judging time.
6. Officials Responsibility:
To fully understand ALL USAIGC Rules & Policies. The USAIGC/IAIGC are Optional Only Competitive Programs with are own Code of Points, Rules & Policies.
