2021 USAIGC/IAIGC
The USAIGC and IAIGC Countries have established a growing International Competitive Gymnastic Program. The IAIGC, International Association of Independent Gymnastic Clubs Sanctioned Competitions are currently held in Bermuda, South Africa & the United Kingdom and are OPEN to ALL USAIGC Gymnasts. Six Countries currently comprise the IAIGC: USAIGC, Bermuda, Canada, Germany, India, Saudi Arabia, South Africa & the United Kingdom. All Countries follow the SAME Competitive Rules. Rules recommend and voted upon every two years by our members
intelligent Competitive rules!
-Competitive Entry Level is decided by the Coach based on the skill level of the gymnast.
-Gymnasts Mobility: based on mastery of skills, not a score.
-Gymnasts do not have to move up to the next competitive level in consecutive order.
When and what level to move up to is the Coaches decision based on the gymnast's skill level
Different Competitive Opportunities:
1. Gymnasts can compete on their next competitive level up, on up to two events preventing the feeling of being "stuck in a level".
2.The USAIGC/IAIGC encourages Individual event specialists and provides our gymnasts with the
opportunity to compete in up to six (6) events.
The USAIGC/IAIGC will continue to provide choices and opportunities for our gymnasts.
3. Different Qualification Procedures.
-State Championship qualification can be attained at any sanctioned USAIGC/IAIGC competition.
-Regional Championship scores are 1 point higher than our State Championship Score and can be attained at any
USAIGC-IAIGC Sanctioned Competitions.
-USAIGC/IAIGC Gymnasts can compete in a State and/or Regional Championships to qualify to our World Championship.
The USAIGC/IAIGC believes that it is as much about the experience of the competition as the competition itself.
Our Gymnasts compete in an environment that fosters friendship and develops successful healthy well-rounded athletes. This is what the USAIGC / IAIGC competitive program is all about!
